The Super Challenge Tournament was a huge success. Jhoon Rhee Arlington had nearly 130 competitors and everyone performed great! The “Super Challenge Cup” was won by Jhoon Rhee Arlington!! Congratulations to everyone who competed!

Our next Belt Testing and Graduation will be the week of June 10 with the Graduation Ceremony being on Friday, June 14. Potential candidates will be notified via email.

We had 38 students pass their belt test and graduate to the next rank, including the following who received “Outstanding Marks:” Amalia Cook (Blue Belt) Also, Colin O’Leary (1st Brown Belt) was recognized as our Most Improved Student this month! Congratulations, everyone!  

T-Shirt season is from May 13th to August 30th. Students will be allowed to wear official Jhoon Rhee School t-shirts instead of their formal tops. Please note, they must be Jhoon Rhee School shirts (from any year), NOT tournament t-shirts (such as the Fearless or Super Challenge T-shirts).

Our newest charity is already underway! One of our local Girl Scoot Troops is pursuing their Bronze Award, which they receive for service in their community. To do this we are helping them collect lightly used and old towels that the Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) will use as bedding. Please bring in towels […]
