Total Body, High-Intensity, Calorie-Burning Workout
Tuesdays at 7 PM (Zoom only)
Saturdays at 9 AM (Zoom only until Sept. 10. Starting Saturday Sept. 10, the class will be hybrid; in-person and on zoom).
Our one-hour-long classes generally feature a variety of punches, kicks, knee strikes, and other self-defense moves interspersed with a bouncing “base” move to high-energy music. The classes also incorporate traditional exercises, such as jumping jacks, abdominal crunches, leg lifts, and push-ups to create a total body workout. In addition, participants will spend at least part of the time kicking and punching weighted or padded targets.
Wear comfortable exercise shorts or sweat pants and a non-restricting t-shirt or tank top. No shoes are allowed on the floor, so you will exercise in bare feet. Bring a towel to class. Please bring your own water bottle.
As you’ll be hitting a bag or target, you’ll also need hand wraps and/or gloves to protect your hands and wrists. You may buy these from our school, but you can also buy them at most sporting good stores.
The cost is $130 for ten classes. You can also purchase a “5-Pack” of classes for $70.
For current TKD students, the cost is $70 for ten classes, or $50 for a “5-Pack” of classes.
If you would like to try a single class before buying a 5- or 10-Pack, you may do so for $20 ($12 for current TKD students). The “10-Pack” of classes expires after 5 months and the “5-Pack” expires after 3 months.
