General Health Guidelines & COVID-19 Policy

General Health Guidelines

We want to continue to provide a safe environment for all. With this in mind, please review our general health guidelines:
Water: There are water fountains in the hallway. Students are encouraged to bring water bottles with them to class. The studio has water in the training areas for emergency use.
COVID: If you or an immediate family member test positive, or are considered “close contact”, please email the studio. Staff may ask you to leave if you enter the studio exhibiting any COVID or flu-like symptoms. See below for more information on our COVID-19 protocols.
Cuts/Sores: Please tend to any cuts or open sores prior to class and ensure they are sufficiently covered. This is especially important if located on the foot/feet.
Other Medical: If a student requires possible access to medication during class, or has experienced an injury that will require modifications to training, please be sure to secure permission to participate from a physician in advance and then share this information with the studio.

If you have any of the following symptoms, we ask that you do not attend class:

  • Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever or chills
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • New loss of taste or smell

COVID-19

Positive COVID-19 Test:
We require a 10-day isolation period if a student has tested positive for COVID. Please email to let us know and we will adjust your membership during your required time away from the studio.

COVID-19 Close Contact:
If you are a close contact, you can attend class if you are asymptomatic as long as you wear a mask for 5 days. After 5 days, you can discontinue wearing a mask if you test negative.

COVID-19 Operations Matrix

The studio’s COVID-19 Operations Matrix is an adjustable pandemic response plan for infection prevention procedures at the studio based on CDC’s Community Level. (CDC’s Community Level Indicator)

  1. Level 1 Operations (Green) is a low risk of transmission and involve minimal modifications.
  2. Level 2 Operations (Yellow) is an intermediate risk of transmission which requires modifications to studio operations
  3. Level 3 Operations (Orange) is a high level of transmission risk which requires a significant pandemic response and mitigation measures involving intense modifications to our operations.
