Please join us as we help support our Adaptive Tae Kwon Do Team by taking part in the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia’s Buddy Walk on Sunday, October 1.

This self-paced walk and festival will take place at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA.

Ways to show your support:
(A) Join the Adaptive Tae Kwon Do Team in attending and participating in the walk
(B) Come cheer everyone on!
(C) Donate (Personal fundraising is not required to participate.)
(D) Encourage interactions to lead with kindness first

The Adaptive Tae Kwon Do (ATKD) Program at Jhoon Rhee Arlington is designed specifically for children with special needs. This program “adapts” the standard Tae Kwon Do techniques and teaching strategies to best suit the specific needs of each student.

Students receive individualized instruction while learning to excel in a group setting. These classes provide students the opportunity to improve their motor skills, coordination, focus and self-control through Tae Kwon Do drills and games.
