In their own words.

We’re fortunate to get lots of letters and emails from our students and their parents. Here are just a few excerpts:

“Dan has developed the habit of getting on his homework without having to be told, which we directly attribute to Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do.”

“My dad passed away unexpectedly over the summer. Teddy recently asked, ‘Remember that time when Guppa died? Well, I think I should do this.’ Teddy then gave his best Tae Kwon Do bow. He said it was to show respect. So, in case you ever wonder if your message gets through to the kids, it does.”

“Your instructors are of the highest quality. They all have great rapport with the kids and yet command respect.”

“A few weeks ago, Gregory learned my cell phone number when Master Pineda suggested all the kids do. When there was a need for his bus driver to call me, Gregory gave the number and we solved a problem. I am proud of Gregory.”

“We want you to know about these latest examples of how the maturity and responsibility Graham gains through Tae Kwon Do have shined through once again in the way Graham helps members of his family.”

“Ronan has truly taken his creed to heart. Since starting Tae Kwon Do he has been especially aware of his behavior and how he interacts with his family. Ronan has gone out of his way to be kind to his younger brother, put his clothes in the laundry basket, try new foods, and to eat well and exercise each day. His positive attitude has made him even more of a pleasure.”

“Thank you very much for helping Daniel become more organized, focused, and self-motivated.”

“We’re writing this letter to inform you that Dilin is doing a great job applying the lessons he’s learned at Jhoon Rhee when he is at home. Dilin is very respectful…[he] is also doing a great job with his homework. He cheerfully works on it after every school day and does his best to show all his work on his math problems. He takes time to read for at least 30 minutes each day before going to bed.”

Here from one of our Black Belt Students in her own words as she recites her speech, “What Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do had done for me.”
